Hand Embroidered Luft Eagle Question

A friend of mine asked if I could authenticate this luftwaffe eagle. It is hand embroidered in cord thread and appears to have been removed from a garment. I have never seen one like it and cannot give an answer.

Thank you both. It is embroidered on black which made me more careful as it is a scarcer eagle.

Not up to par with high quality celleon eagles, but definitely rendered well enough and looks period made, possibly in an area where the HG was stationed. Have you put it up against a panzer wrap to double check the background color? The flash made it look rather blue gray. Nice piece...especially if on black.
