Shoulder board tress

A fellow collector was unsure of the tress on these boards. Just wondering opinions on them. I never thought the tress suspect with the elongated diamond...THanks!

There has been some discussion here on "elongated diamond" tress. I have seen enough of this tress on honest veteran bring-backs and real cut-off insignia that I am convinced this is one of very many correct wartime variations. East German tress is similar looking but I believe the straps you show are very nice and all original.

I have a few yards of this that is unused, so have been looking for good period examples of it in use. It seems to be really scarce, for shoulder boards at least, but legit stuff. I don't know if it's early or late. I have only seen it used on 4 or 5 boards.
