    DAK NCO Shoulder straps

    Hello all,
Here are a couple of recent additions that might excite a few of you. A set of tropical PzGren NCO shoulder straps and a single tropical PzGren or possibly Jager NCO shoulder strap. I was very pleased to add these great looking examples to the ever growing shoulder strap collection.

Well here's the kicker. All paid for but low and behold, none have turned up. So if you see these or see anyone selling them let me know. Don't bother about asking the sellers name as I'm not interested in crucifying him. His countries postal system is the problem. The first set were sent airmail but have apparently gone surface so there may still be a slight chance of seeing them. The single strap was apparently stolen out of the post in South Africa so no chance of seeing them ever.

I'm definitely not buying anything out of South Africa again.

    Thank you

    Mark

Note the distinctive white on the tongue of the strap on the right, possibly paint. Well if you see this then I want to know.

The stolen single Jager of PzGren. What a waste.

            Mark,

Sorry to hear about your loss. I know the feeling, still waiting to find out the story with my tunic removed SV 288 patch that went MIA. Hope these show up. Matt

I have sent many items overseas and only 1 item was ever "lost" by the post office.....a package that I sent last year to South Africa. Makes one wonder what is going on in the South African post office. Hope both of you guys get your DAK items.

What annoys me is that I've sent a few things to South Africa without an issue. I buy two items from South Africa and both items go missing.
                That sucks.

Mark, very sorry to hear this! They are great straps. I really hope they turn up somewhere and can get back to you where they belong. Mike.

                        Hi Mark,

I'm very to hear about your loss.

Heard bad things about the S.A. postal system.

                        Best Wishes,

                        C.

From my personal experience the SA Postal service is not remotely as bad as the perception that is out there. My WHOLE collection arrived through the SA postal system and over the years I have lost no more than five items (three from the UK) and no items sent out of SA was ever lost. Jacques

                            Hello,

Alot of really neat people in S.A. I also sold & sent many nice pieces there, and all arrived safely. But the buyer was also tracking the EMS packages upon their entrances into his country. I used EMS with tracking and full insurance value.

I also think Mark's demeanor speaks very well. Non-demeaning, non-accusatory and very classy IMO.

Geez, as a DAK collector I can actually "feel" his loss.

                            C.

                              Mark,
Never dealt with SA , when this sort of thing happens it makes it hard to do anything.
Hope these gems turn up and join their companions.
