A friend of mine has had these boards for awhile and I have always assumed them to be BGS, what say you? What throws me off is the strange material that makes up the underlay.

This makes me think of FELT fakes I had (still have some, someplace around here...) from the 1970s-- the crude "keyholes" not being right ("ice cream cones") bring back those memories...

Hello gentlemen,

1970s huh? Well, too early for me but these were still around in the 1980s.

Just as a piece of additional information for those who might care. Contrary to some publications, original boards and pieces of insignia made of felt DO exist. At least for WH and WL. KM is not my cup of tea so I wouldn't know.
