the skulls with three rounded pins are well know repro. The skull showed by Luckystrike23 is ok for me also. Sometimes the pictures and information published are not exactly right.

I agree...the skull shown in that book/magazine is a common fake with the 3 rounded end prongs.

The one shown by LuckyStrike23 is an original.

Phil's observations are very correct and quite astute. I also agree with Panzer erc's comments. More detail photos of the wrap are always welcome and I am still wondering if the bias material is glued to the wool?

I have been warned away from these interior pockets with the double row stitching myself once by Peter Whamond of Collectors Guild.

When the eagle is machine sewn (factory made) and was never replaced, why did he remove the tabs (at least tabs an skulls are obviously fakes) - this make no sense, sorry.

many people think that they are fakes but are they ? may someone says me where they are or were made , sold , and their approx price ? i've look on dealers sites , ebay ,repro are not looking like these onel, i agree this wrapper is not a textbook with double stitching and some other détails but when you have it in hands evething is good ,wear , rougher outside compared to the inside etc without full answer to my previous question about the tabs i'll keep it as a genuine wrap

If you lare happy with it, is the really important. I think the problem will be if you try to sell it in the future.
