I`m not a collector of any KM insignia, so if someone could please verify whether this insignia is Third Reich period or postwar Bundesmarine, I`d be very grateful

To make Dion feel better - even wartime KM-insignias simular to those shown are very cheap, most you can get for less than 10,-EUR.
