    Heer Over coat opinions

    Hi All
I would like to get your opinions on this overcoat? I am not versed in clothitems and do not like the looks of this one bit but your opinions are much more experienced. This coat is extremely heavy.

    Thank you in advance
    Steve M.

Original Übermantel. Nothing wrong with this example.

                  Best,
                  Vincent S.

I agree, looks almost mint. Probably was never issued or used after the War.

                        Thanks Guys

                        Thank you Guys
A friend of mine bought this off of Manions and it just looked to good to be true to me. The story behind was that a vet sent this coat along with some other items home to his family and that is why it is in such great shape. There is no smell to it and it seems brand new? You guys know your stuff on cloth so I take your word as affirmative! As they say in this hobby purchase the piece on its merit not on the story behind it or the dealers reputation! Any other comments are welcome.

                        Thank you
                        Steve M.
