    Help with Russian film/museum stamps.

Can anyone identify the Russian ink stamps on the lining of this M40 tunic, I have just bought? Also if anyone has a pair on medial shoulder board they are willing to sell?

Thanks for that. If the stamps were legible, what information would they contain? Is the date the date of capture?

                  Hello
This tunic was mine until I sold it on ebay few month ago . They captured it in 1943 and there is also a stamp from 1944 . The eagle was replaced , since I sold it without one ( the Russian added a funky looking one ) but the rest on the tunic is 100% original to it , the collar litzen for a medic have been there for ever and so is the medic sleeve trade insignias , shame about the eagle , but that was typical with Russian captured items . A large sized tunic as well .
Still a great tunic , just need some nice early medic shoulder board and you will have a great display ( I had them with the medic side cap but I kept them).
                  Regards

Wow. I bought it of eBay two weeks ago and received it last week are it is. The seller I bought it off must have replaced the eagle and then got bored of it VERY quickly. I had assumed that the eagle had been replaced, but as you say all the other insignia looks really good. Thanks Nick.

                      This is not MOSFILM.

The following is on the stamp:

"Алма Атинская Киностудия, Гардероб 1944" -

"Alma Ata film studio, Cloakroom 1944"

Alma Ata is a Soviet period name of Almaty, Kazakhstan

I have the same nice M42 from the same film studio and with the same stamp.

Inventory number of my tunic is 1303, yours - 1305! Brothers in arms...

Sorry for my Spanish. As I understood you have M40 with the similar stamp and you would like to know opinion about it. Isn't it?
