Hi Peter, I forgot to reply about the rank chevrons. These look fine too. I think they are Reichwehr issue, as the tress is not the regular Heer WW2 style with the diamond type pattern. I am sure I have read this on the forum somewhere in the past?

Hi Peter,
along with Ade i think the eagle is fine, the rank chevron appears to have L/W style tresse?? but i belive it was quite often a matter of make do.
Icould bewrong but i thought that pre-war early tresse was of artificial silk rther than the woven aluminium type??
