Hand applied tabs are what I would expect on such a piece if that was your concern...

A lovely tunic! For some reason these are not popular and hence are not expensive for such relatively rare items.

Light brown would be correct. There were 2 careers with brown the 1st was Barracks Administrator (Heeresunterkunftsverwaltung) however there was only a medium/elevated career level.

Your tunic due tio the high career tabs is for a Teacher at a Professional Schools(Professional School Service (Lehrpersonal an Heeres- und Wehrmachtfachschulen, Heeresfachschuldienst)) for non technical trades with the rank of Oberstudiendirektor.
