Controversial bevo-cap birds

I just want to share some thought,s about these cap-insignia that i have

And why I think these are originall ones

First I want to show the Flatwire-t-shaped one

If you look close you can see indeed the difference ,compared to the standard t-shaped ones
The main differnece is the odd colour of the base materiall
This is because they uses 2 different colours of thread(one green and one black)
Also the backingmaterial of the eagle and cocade(welt)LOOKS a little bit different, because of the use of two materials(under a microsope
It isn,t the case)
I believe there was a factory that uses this kind of 2 materials for the base material and welt

IMO BEVO ,was not a little factory or company but dozens or maybe even more
that,s why there is much variation type,s

Well let the picture,s talk
The last 2 trapezoid,s have the same construction as the flatwire t-shaped

Also the material,s are also IMO 100% originall,
Also the flatwire I compared with other normall type,s( you know that nice twisted silver around a cotton base thread)

Well I hope to have some comment,s and other opinions

I know these Birds where also controversial this was also about the first glance of the chest eagle and the materials they used
Till there was somebody that posted a period picture of the enlisted one

Hello John, I know you collect and have several bevo birds and surely you have a big knowledge.
In my opinion you need to have these controversial types in hand for inspection before give the last virdict.
What I can say by my experience is the first one posted is authentic.

I like the flatwire trapazoid that was posted first. IMHO it is a very nice original.
I would like to see the backs of the second set of eagles posted. The flatwire is the one on top used as a comparison eagle to the BeVo piece on the bottom if I am correct. I had doubts about this style of eagle last year and started a thread about them. I am convinced now that they are good but as Luca said, "You need to have them in hand for inspection"
I think Lenny has one of these eagles on a hat of his.

Thanks for posting the back shot. It looks like the bobbin thread tension wasn't correct when these were woven. They look original to me just a little loose.

Well I really don,t care for books
In these books
Deutsche Heeresuniformen und Ausrustung" by Cardona and Sanchez.
and the book
"Uniforms and Traditions of the german Wehrmacht" form Angolia. Volume II, page 58.
The trapezoids are pictured in these books as real ones

What I do like are wartime pictures
This one is posted a while ago on the forum by Moderater Glenn

I am familar with the the "T" eagles in the Soldat book and they are made of a different synthetic material. I agree with Fred and IMO the Trap is real.
