Sleeve stripe color

My white oversmock has an blue stripe. Smock itself is an light version and it is permanently attached.

My white over smock has the black stripes on each sleeve permanently sewn on.

There's a difference between the reversible/detachable versions and the examples that are sewn on. The reversible versions came in red/black and possibly also green/yellow (although I have yet to see an original example of the green/yellow style). The versions that were sewn on permanently were made out of smooth cotton or Herring Bone Twill cotton and were, in most cases, black. Due to fading and washing, the black dye could start to resolve, resulting in a somewhat bluish colour. More information about these can be found in my upcomming book.
