Fake? Arty Waffenrock on Ebay

Just saw this on german ebay (newly listed) - only 2 pics. Although its been discussed and WR are faked - there was not much market as you could buy a real one for the same price.

Maybe its real but I don't get good vibes, plus the tailor's label looks fake - just my opinion

Hard to make any judgement based on the one photo posted here, but it looks promising to me. As you said, there is not that much market for repros...yet. The best repros I've seen are coming from Hong Kong, and they still leave a lot to be desired. IMO, the one pictured here is not one of those.

What is up with the loose label? Is it a repro that you are showing for comparison?

From the one picture, it looks good to me. As far as I know, the little clips to hold the private purchase Kragenbinde are not being reproduced and they are virtually impossible to find loose.

Looks good to me.... The seconde label you posted is not the same as in the tunic. The one in the tunic has a golden border...

Most of the fake labels are based on real ones but as Sander noted usually lack details or are a little different. You can see the address and name of the tailor is different on the Rock tag. It is a simple basic two color tag design so may just be similar by chance. Need more pictures.

Thanks for the link. Apparently the Waffenrock pictured at the start of this thread is not being offered for auction on eBay after all...only the loose label. The photo of the Waffenrock is merely being used to convince buyers the loose label is good.
