    Unapplied eagle for review.

This is by far not my area of interest so I'm posting here before putting this up on e-stand. If anybody can give me a particular usage identification (I'm assuming heer) and value as well as opinions on originality I would greatly appreciate it!

            heer flat wire

This is a Heer flatwire bevo type tunic eagle. these are, I think, sometimes used as a poor mans officers eagle, or a posh em/nco's eagle for the waffenrock. Might be used on your best tunic, though probably saw use on combat worn tunics as well.

I think this would be classed as a third pattern heer flat wire, but it might be a second. Depends on what you consider a pattern change or merely a variation.

These are my opinions, and might be incorrect.

Value about $40-60, I think, though others might post something different.

Thank you gentlement! I was hoping it was good. I picked this up off of craigslist quite a while ago before I started 'researching' this stuff.

                Greetings All,

Jerry is right on target. The eagle is a Heer silver Flatwire eagle used by officers. It is the second pattern of Heer breast eagle. It was also used by NCO' on their walking out dress uniforms. It was used both on dress tunics and field tunics.

Thanks Fred. Heer insignia is not my strength!

It is now on the e-stand.

Thanks again Glenn, Jerry and Fred.
