Chris is right on the money. The collar tabs should be a white badge cloth for infantry.

I agree with the above. You could try to argue that it was converted for daily wear but why replace the eagle etc. It is more likely it was inncorrectly and poorly restored. Sorry.Comment

I agree with the other folks. It's not in bad shape and could be restored, but if you have any sort of a money-back guarantee on your deposit, I would recommend holding out for one that is all original. Orignal Infantry Leutnant 'Rocks are not that hard to come by.

Perfect in terms of condition, all-original insignia, etc. would probably be around $1000 on up, more on a dealer site.

I say throw an IAB, or BWB on the pocket, looks like you have loops for a 3-bar ribbon so I'd put something like EK2/Ost/Westwall for example, you get the idea.as well as which badges I should place in the award loops.
