    Wich maker is the tunic? Looks like a French name from the last letters of the stamp.... If it would be French it would be common to see non-textbook things like mentioned above.

        I have a `39 dated Flak Waffenrock with rope collar piping, but the diagonal rope effect is much more distinct than on this Waffenrock.

          Nice Paul and Thank You.
          Before i got this tunic, the family had it dried cleaned for there daughters school project, would that effect anything?

              Hey Gary,

              You are correct. The collar piping was worn on these tunics, until ordered removed in 1942. It was the type of collar piping I was referring to. The most common type is that as seen on Paul's example. I have never seen collar piping, as seen on your example before. Not saying it is not good, it is just something I have never personally seen.


              The piping on this tunic seems to use the same technique the Heer uses on it's waffenrocks.

                Thanks for the input guys. I hadn't come back to this thread since it got moved over to the uniforms section (from the Luftwaffe section).

                Gary - thanks for stepping in with some additional photos and input. I'm still happy with it!
