Now that patch looks like its been around a bit. I know its easy to "dirty"up a cloth item but that snipers patch looks like its been around. I would love to see one (to convince me fully) that has that same overall look with a couple of frayed edges and bits of old cotton still sewed around the edges. Then I may change my mind on these items.

Regarding this oval mystery patch which apparently has been appearing on Estionan Polizei uniforms, its probably not a sniper oval afterall....
BUT it is also not a standard Polizei trade patch...at east not according to the Polizei experten. I went ahead and re-posted the period photograph in the polizei section and got this reply:
