Repro German Uniform Help

Hello people, I'm wishing to purchase the following WWII German uniform (M40 style) but wish those of you with the knowledge tell me if it looks authentic? I'm not looking for the original but just one that looks like one. Pics are below:

Does it look real (M40)? Also can you look at the following picture, I don't know if the inside of the uniform looks like this?

And one last question, the seller said the uniform is "made in China, but don't contain Melamine". Can someone tell me what this statement means? Thanks !!

The tunic you posted is cut like an M42, I cannot see the details but it basically looks okay. The US companies in my opinion have better tunics but they also are more expensive. The Living History section has al ot of people who can help you.

Melamine is a chemical that is believed to cause kidney disease and failture. Not having it involved in clothing you will be wearing is a good thing.

Thank you John for the input. I too hope to buy US made ones but the price of the China one I posted is around $70 USD after shipping so I'm moved haha Thank you.

You can go to this website and they have a section on all the different models and detailing of features etc. Even if you are not buying one of their tunics it will be helpful
