    Panzer Skulls?

I hate to do this, but it's about 5 years since I asked for any opinions on authenticity, so I would be grateful if anyone could take a look at these skulls which have been at the back of my collection for quite a while.
The top set weigh in at a whopping 4.4g and have what look like panel pins for prongs whilst the bottom set which look like zinc weigh 1.5g and do not seem to have ever had any prongs...they also show traces of once having had a gold finish.

Did you get the skulls together with the shoulder board numbers???

For example golden Panzer skulls were used on shoulder boards of the 5th Kavallerie....

              on estand

these are on estand as repros and are very similar, with glued in pins(tacks).

              Hope this is relevant,

Cheers, The pins do look similar...Any thoughts on the gold ones without prongs?
