Did not want to start e new thread for these. Are these east German? The darkgreen backing ist not woolen fabric but looks and feels more like cotton. They are quite flimsy

What is the huge piece on top? Below is a normal Wehrmachts Einheitskragenspiegel (general service collar tab) for comparison. Reichswehr?
