WH M43 Keilhose..second pair!

Here’s the second pair of trousers;I’ve bought them off the e-Stand from fellow member Zauberflote and they’re amongst the most beautiful trousers I’ve seen and owned to date!They’re absolutely mint and look like they had been made yesterday!The lining is made of “tropical” cloth,as is the case in many M43s and M44s (and drillich M43s too) with patches and reinforcements made in gray cotton twill.They’re interesting in that they lack the buttons for the pockets and the two upper waist buttonholes and the holes for the ankle fabric straps are simple slits reinforced with the same thread the buttons are sewn on with..just like seen on Regio Esercito Tunics and Trousers.I own several pairs of M43s and M44s made in Northern Italy out of Regio Esercito Nettle Cloth and Gabardine and nearly all of them have the lining made of green tropical cotton twill like these…gonna compare the RBNrs soon!
