SS cap skull real or fake,help please

The person I bought this from swears it is part of a group of items given to him by a ww2 vet,he says this skull is 100% original ww2 era ss skull,what do you say???Its plated copper I think,thin stamped metal.Here are a pic of the back and front,also is a pic of another skull I have.This copper one has some dents dings and flatening wear,any help appreciated,I posted it on GDC with mixed opinions.Just found out I cant post pics,it on GDC with lots of pics.
