Thanks Richard! The eagle is my favorite purchase. I also have the Army version in this style which I was given
in high school from the family of a vet.

Insignia always trips my trigger! The heavy cord of the Naval eagle and the signal Blitzes. Those were always my favorite style! Nice pick-ups

I've seen a few of your threads you have a ton of cloth. Lately I've bought more insignia than medals. I guess my focus changes constantly!!!

I like the eagles! I used to collect medals but sold most off and made the switch to used insignia and uniforms. I feel that cloth items show much more of the use and history of combat experiences whereas medals could have been awarded to a soldier but are still mint and never worn in combat.

Here is a Army eagle in the same style as the Navy one posted above.
Another reason I like insignia is the fact it can be displayed well in a case.
I use a 18x24x2 with a glass top.
