About the austrian tunic of that thread, if the collar tabs were resewn, shouldn't there be a previous stitiching ? I don't think it could be possible to make disappear that ? Or it isn't visible on the pictures.

Tabs very often were hand stitched, if that was the case there would be no eividence on the underside of the collar.

I still do not really like the piping, it just looks odd to me, maybe the flash. For what you paid for it I would not be too worried about anything.
