    Heer Officer/NCO breeches

    Hello,
Just wanted some cloth experts to take a look at these breeches for me. They appear to be privately tailored. All buttons appear original to them except one on the reverse was replaced. Really in excellent condition as well.

My main question is about what material this is and can this give a rough idea of when they were made. I believe these are Italian wool, but I've often heard Italian gaberdine and Italian wool - are these the same or is one a high quality gaberdine used early in the war and the other a rougher wool used after the Italian capitulation? Sorry for the poor photos and bad lighting, but there's no sunshine in Europe right now and I had to take them inside.
    Thank you,
    Dale

Reverse, buckle marked Prima. Also, a change to my description above - it appears both of these buttons are replaced, though they appear to be period.

              Hello
They look like a fine pair of private purchase breeches . I like the painted buttons.

Thank you. Any information you can give me on the wool?
