Just got this in from fairly crappy pics and was pleased to find that it is made from the rarer cotton duck material rather than hbt.
It has seen a good deal of field wear but is in overall good condition. The unit tailor has gone to town on this at some point and applied patches/reinforcement to the collar, cuffs, and to the seam above the front pockets. This has been done in a heer splinter printed light cotton- no idea what it could be from. These repairs aren't actually hiding any major damage but have been applied where there are small holes or the material has started to wear through- I'm almost tempted to remove them to reveal the luft splinter hiding below!
The eagle is blue wool backed, having examined the area closely I can see absolutely no trace of another having been there and this one is hand sewn. Buttons are matching blue bakelite.
Let me know what you think, also appreciate an input as to value as I will be moving this one on.
