    Hi Guys
    Here is another one for review-AK Tunic and shorts. Not much more info I can add at this point in time. Would appreciate your feedback on these 2 items

                    Tunic looks fine from the few pics, would like to see interior and a few more shots before saying with absolute certainty as to application of insignia, but looks good so far, 43 dated piece, so the AK theater title would not really be one for this piece, most often seen on first and some second model tunics. This would be more of a med/trop tunic than a true "AK" issue.

                    P.S. just saw the interior shot, looks fine.

                              Hi Barry,
                              3rd model tunics did see service in North Africa as early as late 1942, but I suspect very few actual theatre used examples now exist.
                              Yours looks very good from the photos you've posted - but I'd like to see a close-up behind the bird to be sure. (I am seeing very positive aspects to it's application). I would have thought the litzen/bird applied using the same thread, but this is no hard & fast rule.
                              The shorts are also original's as Scott stated.
