I try it......every night......i send my wife out in the woods.....i close the door and the window.....so absolut silence...........and all i get from the books when i am alone..........we dont know we dont know........

Chris, why not steer clear of ebay and all it's scammers and watch estand, some real nice tunics come up from serious collectors. Build your collection slowly as your knowledge increases and you will get to know and enjoy each item. Regards, Bill

You can still find good stuff but you need to know what is bad versus good. Not a place to look for stuff if you are not familiar with tunics etc.

IMO people telling you to stay away from ebay , either want to keep the good stuff still there from themselves , or just got burned by not doing their homework and buying obvious fakes .
While this one is an obvious fake ( and yes , a little more homework will definitely benefit your pockets), you are still doing the right thing and ask for opinions , this is what this forum is about , after all , isn't ???? not every one is a "specialist" .

I dont get it, also i dont want to be offensive but there are two cases in my eyes ;

1. if you get offered tunics every day then after a LITTLE while you should know whats real and whats not. I never had any books when i got my officer assemble.

2. if you have a lot of tunics in your collection as you say then your just dumb to ask all these questions and make these useless threads "is it good" when even a newbie can see its $hit.

Fine :-) But i can ask what i want, and when i want. And again, i like to have more opinions to a item then mine. And so there will be sure more treads with the same ask, is it good or not! And belive me you can collect 30 years, and you do not know all.........
