It is an upgraded M41 or M42 (with added pocket pleats) with an added collar.

Looks like he ran into these fellows.

I like it's extreme saltyness. I'd buy it for the right (very cheap) price and try to keep it preserved as much as possible.

It should cost about $25 tops.

Update, I think I'll give this fellow a home when I get home from work, nobody touch it!

Interesting tunic. It is not an issue tunic, may be tailored? Strange that it has a seam running down the center of the back and is missing chest darts, belt ramp holes and some other details.
