Sleeve edelweiss with waffenfarbe backing?

This one was a new one on me so i'll ask you guys. Has anyone seen or heard of sleeve edelweiss patches having waffenfarbe piping around the edges? red for gebrigsartillerie and black for gebirgspioneer specifically. Never heard of it before on WWII patches.
