        It's very hard and probably impossible to read the maker. SCHM are the first letters on it...

            Hi all,

            Here I am again. Finally had my Internet connection re-estabilished. Got tired of using that German Field Phone...

            Concerning the parka and pants: both are nice original examples and hard to come by. I concur with the above that it is impossible to tell whether the pants are Heer or Luftwaffe issue. The maker of the jacket is Schmidt, his company also made the earliest models with a woollen exterior. Make sure to check Werner's book and my upcomming one.

              In the arms, on the white side, there are two button in the front and two in the back.

              What are they made for?
