Waffenrock for a Fliegerhauptingenieur

I totally forgot to thank you. That was very educational. This combination I had never heard of. This may be a little bit off track but would pink piped enlisted LW visors be for other ranks of these units as well?

The General Officer Ranks could wear either white piped, gold piped, or pink piped tunic, hats, and White, gold, or pink striped breeches. All the the field officer rank tunics I have seen have white piping but From what I can find they could wear pink piping. The visor's piping could also be white or pink but it would be an officer's visor.

I am late to the party. I have posted a photo of my Fl.Hauptingenieur tunic as an example. I would agree with the previous assesments of reseaching with the family before applying the tabs.

Thanks luftwaffeguy for sharing your Fliegerhauptingenieur Waffenrock as well. Since I started this thread, I was able to find a nice LW Erel visor and a breat eagle. I am determined to restore it to a Fliegerhauptingenieur but can't find the right tabs anywhere (there are several engineers for sale right now but not this rank). Help would be appreciated.

Attached you find a picture of the progress...

I know LW officer's breeches aren't exactly rare but if somebody has a realtively large pair in good condition, I would love to obtain it for display.
