I'm not a Luftwaffe collector at all but when this surfaced three weeks ago, I simply couldn't resist. It came from a private household in the Hanover region in Germany. Since my grandfather served with the Fliegeringenieurkorps & in addition to that, it bears my favorite tailor's label Wilhelm Wellhausen of Hannover Kassel, I just had to obtain it. 
I'm now stuck with a field of collecting I never wanted to get into...
I was already able to find a nice mint bullion breast eagle (which I hope is original). If you Luftwaffe collectors out there still have a spare set of Fliegerhauptingenieur collar tabs these would greatly be appreciated to restore it to its old beauty.
