    our old favourite! czec-made repro hbt sumpf sold as original

    would anyone have a problem buying this smock for over £1,000?
    does anyone think this smock is original?
    does anyone think this smock is post war made?
    would you be happy buying this if described as original?
    id like to believe it is ww2.
    but havent we seen czec-copies on the site before, displaying identical traits?
    if so i would like to think that anyone selling this item as original has simply made a mistake and thinks it is. in which case, im happy for anyone to help validate its authenticity, based on this image.
    im especially thinking about protecting the collector who knows little about smocks and may want to buy the first thing he sees that 'looks' like a real one.

      well...say two or three years ago when these were fresh, etc, you could say it would fool. now for most of us we hopefully know otherwise.

      any others for an opinion?

      or it is too obvious to bother typing?

        There were found large quantities of this sort of camo fabric here in CZ.So if something made using this stuff appears i consider it 99% fake.Of course there exist a FEW originals..I am a big unbeliever as for things made from this stuff if not bought for a nominal price..
