I have been collecting for 35 years and never aquired a Steuermannabzeichen until yesterday - it came right from the estate of a vet. I like this example because you can see that it was actually worn. What is a realistic price for these badges today? Thanks in advance!

I don't collect cloth items so I have no idea how realistic the price is, and it is a dealers price, but there is one here for 130 Euros...

That one is authentic, it is what I call the "ring" variant.

I find most of these have the "ring" or "hook" bottom and I have some pics of a few that appear to have neither at the bottom of the anchor.

Being maker marked and having the correct backing on it for this model, that one would be worth about $100-125 max being non minty.
