Pilot leather jacket

Hi buddies,

I need some help regarding a late flight jacket.
This an unheated later war pilot jacket.
This is first time i see an unheated model like this one.

i forgot to mention that it had probably a fur collar and it has been removed.
When, this is the question.
Do you think it's possible to see such modified jacket in use during ww2 ?
I never seen pictures without the fur collar.

Werner, thats a very nice jacket you have. A few nice pictures in a book called , battles with the the luftwaffe by Theo Boiten and martin Bowman 1942-45. page 178, Uffz Walter Stumpf of 7/JG26 wearing same jacket as yours, this could be his? Regards, Paul.

Unfortunately, i don't have this book.
Do you have this picture ?
And what about the removed collar, do you think it's possible this jacket was used during ww2 without the fur collar ?

Hello John,

Here is picture from Uhu219 member.
If you remove the fur collar, you will have the same jacket.
Except the fact that this one below is wired.
