IS THIS A GERMAN WH SHIRT ( Heereshemd ) ?

Hi Guys !

I found this shirt during a house cleaning in Belgium today, many things point out that it might be a german Wh shirt ( number of buttons etc ) ... but it is not made of wool but - excuse the comparison - of some sort of sturdier fabric similar in touch to an US HBT shirt. buttons are made of cardboard ( pressed paper ) Can you give me you opinion ? It would be much appreciated. Thanks
