With regard to the general question posed by Glen, I do not recall having seen any images of soldiers from the Panzer-Lehr wearing numerals in addition to/in lieu of the L's. I would be eager to see such an image as well.
I'm not discounting that it did not happen, but i suspect it was a individual/small unit thing, if at all.

I would guess the waffenfarbe to be pink , since on the picture it looks very similar to other panzer portraits'pipings I have

yes , it must be really a rare uniform and I don't even know of anyone having a specimen. If you too are not sure if someono has it....
