                      Goering wore his own pattern with a heer type eagle with two crossed batons.

                          Here's an original gold General's cape eagle and an example of Goering's special one. I say "example" because this piece, although very well done, came off an antique dealer's table at a Great Western show 20 years ago, with no provenance, and I have nothing, really, to compare it to. The background is more of a light gray than the white the flash makes it appear to be.

                              One without flash. I think this same pattern may also have been used on Goering presentation funeral sashes.
