Killer rare stuff we seldom get to see...thanks for sharing. I bet many do not know there was also the same boards for a Heer panzer general with matching pink backed generals tabs.

Incredible Gary B I've only seen these in reference books and you even own three pairs of these collar tabs. This is a branch of the Luftwaffe that has always amazed me (my grandfather served as a LW flight engineer). Thanks for sharing.

Luftwaffe Engineer Generals Tabs

This is a pair I recently acquired:






Note that the gold wreath and piping have begun to "brown" with age which is a chemical process related to metal wire. The props are made or real gold wire (which never dulls) wrapped around a cotton core.

That is a great collection of Fl. Chefingenieur tabs! I have a small side collection of Luftwaffe items which includes a couple of Ingenieur tabs, but nothing that comes close to equaling those General Officer tabs. I also have a Fl. Oberingenieur tunic. I've always liked the LW Engineer items.
