    a very lazy tailor

    Heey to all
maybe some of you know this tunic
but I still find it interesting and I thought I would share it with u

It is a standard m-36 enlisted men wehrmacht tunic upgraded to an officer
as you can read the thread A VERY LAZY TAILOR
this I said that the man/woman didn,t take off the o.r.litzen but simpley
put the officer,s litzen over them

so this became a very intersting tunic

the officer,s eagle has a lot of metal-oxidation but it is original to the tunic
so you can,t have itt all

    Greeting,s johnny

I've seen this done before. Dave Suter has an Artillery Officer's HBT tunic that started life as an enlisted tunic which had been upgraded. You can see the stitching of the enlisted tabs on the underside of the collar and the officer litzen was sewn on over them.

Hopefully he'll see this thread and post some pics.

            hello John, very interesting indeed.

I was also wondering if it's still has the original bevo-eagle underneath the bullion one?
Probably not, but it was just a thought
            Cheers

Thanks John, and no that is not helmet from my collection, in fact it is not even an original one...but it looked good enough for an avater though...
