    Coming along- Luft Pilot Display

Well, it is coming along. Now I need to find boots, both heated and unheated. After that, I will be seeking the gloves.

I am awaiting my signal flag pole and have found 3 flare casings for the pocket.

It has been fun getting everything together. I wish to thank everyone who has helped me find these items.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

            Don't forget your Mae West

The bottle on this is dated Jun 44. It still had air in it when I got it.

LOL. Did you take a look at what was in the background? That's what drains the finances. The Luft display looks to be amazing.

Do not know how long Bob has that stuff ...

But I remember well that he started with the Luft display just a few weeks/months ago.

Pre-45 nazi air from the third reich, thats pretty rare. A very small amount of fanatic LW collectors might pay a lot of money to have that in their collection

Hi Bob, very nice. With the RK this could be a young Walter Schuck, an Oberfeldwebel RK winner 4/44 or Hans Rudel's backseater E. Hentschel. I agree at some point you might be saying "a canary yellow swimmveste and a crushed cap would be next" Best, BIll Bourque

                          GREAT PILOT DISPLAYS!!
I like the leather jacket/fighter pilot look best BUT, Bob set up is looking great, and is not even finish. By the way there is a very famous photo of a German pilot using an American leather jacket!! an A-1, I think(but not sure).

That was Major Heinz Bär. He is just looking over a downed B-17 on the pic.
