I should know this, but I don't,so please tell me. Did Sonderfuhrer have their own uniforms or did they wear regular uniforms with the Sonderfuhrer Waffenfarbe? Does anybody have any tunics or Waffenrocks to show? Thanks, Pete

Question on uniform for Sonderfuhrer

They wore the standard Wehrmacht uniforms that were issued for their rank or position. However there were some variations which included shoulder cords and boards unique to them as well as distinctive collar tabs. A blue/grey color was chosen to be the Sonderfuhrer waffenfarbe. This was shown as the base of the collar tabs and as the color of the tunic collars. The distinctive Sonderfuhrer’s shoulder boards and cords as well as collar tabs were first introduced in August 1939, and were slightly modified in March 1940 and again in December 1942 when the insignia reverted back to the 1939 pattern insignia.
