Hi there,

I'd like to hear your opinions on this NCO Waffenrock on E-stand. Period applied insignia? Thanks in advance.

The pictures aren't the best, but the collar tabs and cuff tabs look period applied. The only odd thing I see about the collar tabs is they seem to hang off the bottom edge of the collar. The shoulder straps look a little sloppy at the shoulder seam, but I'd want to see the inside seam before making a call on them.

The bird looks professionally applied. I usually just assume the eagle has been reapplied since most of them were removed in the denazification process.

Ask for a nice clear shot under the collar to see if you can tell if there were other tabs on there at one time. I think the boards are OK - it may have hung on a hanger for years and that's why they look a little loose.

Insignia application looks good to me. Hard to make a call on the eagle but I wouldn't worry about it.
