    DLV cloth and insignia

Just wanted to share a recent pickup of a small collection of DLV cloth and insignia. Most of the items I believe are good. There are a few items that I'm not totally convinced of. I'll post those later.

Need help on identifying the small square patch (3rd posting), what did it go on?
Searched all my references books and did not come up with anything.

Opinions are also welcome and thanks for looking.

                Stick pins.
Believe the left one is an RLM stickpin.

I think that might be a repro. The quality does not seem to be there - note the swaz - and all DLV wings from what I have seen, have 3 sections to them not the 5 or 6 that are on that one.

                      Laurence,

Thanks for the feedback. Good point on the rings, didn't notice that initially. Checked my only reference (only one pennant with this type of stitch) and the extra rings were not present.

In favor of this piece, both cloth items (see below) exhibit the "chain stitching" to them (a very uncommon type of stich). One other point is that both swaz's aren't exactly perfect, which is probaby do to this type of stich. Lastly, if you held this pennant in your hand, it has the look and feel of being a good piece.
