This embroidered blue eagle and cockade is embroidered on white cotton. Were these made for the M43, or some type of oveseas cap? What piece of headgear are they intended to be used on?

This thread in the Cloth Headgear section shows an example of a cap this type of insignia was used on. Not often encountered.
