Question about Waffenfarbe on slip-ons

What "Waffenfarbe" can you see on these slip-ons?

Greetings Madandi,

The 159 are in a brown color. I believe the 12's are also brown but faded. I could only guess at the others but I believ heavily faded red. What do they look like from the back side?

That´s the problem. The look exact the same on the back. So no fading!
What branches could this colors be? The light brown for the early signals?
But the color has changed before they have used this slip-ons, right?

The orange/red or maybe copperbrown for Kradschützen? Or Feldgendarmerie?

i think "159" is for a Bau-Battaillon.

Waffenfarbe

The 12's and 159's are bau-truppen. The 33's are reconnaisance, I have a single of the excact same slip-tab on a board that is not as faded. Is is definitely copper brown. Not sure about the 4th pair.
