How to wear a Blutorden / blood order ribbon?

    Gents,

    I need help:

I have an original blood order ribbon here, that I would like to add to the uniform of a well-known officers field tunic (right pocket)...

So, the question is how to fix the ribbon on the pocket. Is there a button hole in the middle of the blood order ribbon? If yes, would anyone be so kind and make a photo of its ribbon/button hole? You would really help me a lot.

    Thank you in advance!

It is just two pieces of ribbon sewn through the button hole on the pocket flap.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

        Thank you for your help!

That means, that there is a button hole on the ribbon? How does the sewing look, how long is that ribbon and where is the button hole on yours?

Would anyone please be so kind and make a photo of its blood order ribbon that I can see how to do that exactly?

There is no hole in the ribbon. It is two pieces of ribbon, sewn through the buttonhole of the pocket flap.

Here is a pocket flap, removed from a tunic, with the ribbons properly sewn.

Reverse of flap showing the sewing of the two ribbon pieces.
