    what kind of coat is this?
    There are missing 4 button of the 12.

    Not the best pictures but I would guess it is a M36 style mantel with a wool lining added later? Are there any markings under the fleece? Looks as if some of the buttons have been removed. May have been altered post war for civilian use?

      It's a private made DRK overcoat, the wool is periode done I couldn't find any makers underneath it. (I used to own this one)
      The coat was stored in a farm (house) for several years, in that time the 4 buttons probally removed for using civil or just got lose and got lost.

      I also know that this one was late-war used bij Heer of Luftwaffe (flak) units.
      IMO a really nice coat!
