Username peter-hassinger , he works mostly off ebay germany. Unfortunately dont know his real name but I have seen a few similiar straps surface on European sites. So they will be making the rounds, especially when some folks realize they arent any good.
Easy to spot though, the embroidery can be good to shoddy, usually not crisp. The Units chosen on average are rare. The tress is usually horrible, as are the underside stitching. Mix of good wool and repro on some. Also using bad slides as well. In the past I have seen a few good straps come from him, Medical, as well as a good set of infantry.

        He calls himself Bodo Garske

        Ebay ID: peter-hassinger (amongst others)

As long as Bloato keeps turning out this same quality...most of his customers will have to be buying by braille.

The majority of people collecting do not know the difference and only look for evidence of age which is the easiest thing to fake. In this case at least with the bodies and the gray tongue backing he appears to be using original materials which are WWII Period..

I agree with Johnny...they mostly appear to be reworked original straps.

I think sadly also he is chopping up original period clothing etc. to get the materials.
